
A reality of caregiving is exhaustion; we can’t hide from it, so how do we cope with it?
After visiting my parents, I was emotionally and physically exhausted. I could not even sit upright during the plane ride home.
One of my caregiving lessons: Exhaustion is a result of caregiving. We have to acknowledge it and attempt to keep going.



Nancy and I have been married 32 years today. We are celebrating in a most unusual way. It helped me focus on living with gratitude.
